4 febbraio 2004 Nel 2003 i porti di Keelung e Taichung hanno registrato un incremento del 4% del traffico container Keelung ha movimentato 2.000.706 teu, Taichung 1.246.027 teu Nel 2003 il porto taiwanese di Keelung ha totalizzato una movimentazione contenitori pari a 2.000.706 pezzi da venti piedi, con una progressione del 4,3% rispetto a 1.918.597 teu movimentati nell'anno precedente.
