Workshop internazionale sulla seconda proposta di direttiva sui servizi portuali
Organizzato da ESPO ed European Institute of Maritime and Transport Law, si svolgerà il 20 maggio ad Anversa
Il 20 novembre 2003 il Parlamento europeo ha rigettato la prima proposta di direttiva sull’accesso al mercato dei servizi portuali (inforMARE del
20 novembre 2003), ma lo scorso 13 ottobre la Commissione Europea - su iniziativa del commissario ai Trasporti uscente, Loyola de Palacio - ha ripresentato la proposta di legge (inforMARE del
13 ottobre 2004). Sarà la volta buona oppure sarà l’ultima volta? Se lo chiede l’European Sea Ports Organisation (ESPO), che - in collaborazione con l’European Institute of Maritime and Transport Law dell’Università di Anversa - ha organizzato su questo tema il workshop internazionale "The second EU ports package - The good or the last try ?" che si terrà il prossimo 20 maggio al City Campus dell’Università di Anversa. Nel corso dell’incontro la nuova proposta di direttiva sarà analizzata sia sotto il profilo legale che quello economico.
ESPO inviterà i partecipanti all’incontro a concludere il workshop sorseggiando birra belga. In questo frangente sarà ammesso eccezionalmente il "self-handling" e non sarà necessaria alcuna autorizzazione!
