- The governor of the Friuli Venezia Giulia confirmed the full support of the national government for the project Unicredit Monfalcone
- Round: there is no disengagement from the executive
Unicredit The project to build a platform of container in the port of Monfalcone has the full support of the national government. This was underlined by the President of the Friuli Venezia Giulia, Renzo Tondo, after a telephone conversation with Minister of Foreign Affairs, Franco Frattini.
- "It is time - said Tondo - to stop or to allegations of divided into different groups of supporters. We are talking about topics essential to the future of the country and not this or that port. The model proposed by Unicredit proposes a new culture, the European Organization port. And in his first development will cover the entire northern Adriatic. The project is therefore to be ahead of the logistics platform, without any withdrawal from the national government. "
- Tondo said he and Foreign Minister share the view that this is a complex operation that requires synergy and common goals both private and public intervention, but - said the governor - is primarily a project that will require a new regulation in the management of Italian ports, and perhaps - noted - the real difficulty lies here: to mature all the conditions that permit to overcome narrow view for us into a perspective of an international scale.
- Tondo announced that Minister Frattini, who today will address the issue with colleagues in government, has secured the full commitment of the project's logistics platform Monfalcone and Trieste, which - said Round - will enable the Region Friuli Venezia Giulia to do its part.
- We recall that the Minister Frattini and the CEO of Unicredit, Federico Ghizzoni, presented the draft port at the end of last year (
of 15 December 2010). . | |
