Today in the Palazzo San Giorgio, home of the Port Authority of Genoa, was presented the campaign for safety in port "We tifiamo for your life" from the port of Genoa and was designed by the RLS site port and the Port Authority in cooperation with the ASL 3 and sponsored by the Genoa club.

Monday brochures will be distributed to all port workers will be the same and also presented on the safety video, visible on the new site at the Port Authority www.porto.genova.it in the web TV, which have been translated and published by the U.S. OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and NMSA (National Maritime Safety Association).
- The videos are the first in a series that includes, in addition to the field of handling containers, also in the landing of general cargo and repairs, and outfitting of ships. It is media that uses the Port Authority during the compulsory courses dedicated to the recruitment of workers from new port companies and represent some cases of fatal accident actually happened in U.S. ports. The cases relate to the most frequent types of accidents, such as the risk of interaction man on the ground / vehicle, present in two movies that illustrate the dynamics of two separate but similar events in the dynamics: a worker on foot was killed by a truck phase reverse and a worker on foot killed by a tractor trailer pulled by the vehicle during reversing. The other two films relate to events relating to the operation in the reverse manner of a semi performed incorrectly and without the use of seat belts and fall of a container ship on the dock below. In each movie are also shown possible preventive measures.
