- The new line of the third passage, part of Corridor 24, will have a length of about 53 km over 14 km of interconnections with the existing rail network, for a total of about 67 km of new infrastructure and develop mainly in the gallery. Fully integrated with the existing network, the third passage of Jupiter will be interconnected with the node to the south of Genoa, to liaise directly with the docks and the Genoa-Ventimiglia, and north in the direction of Turin, Novara, Milan and Piacenza, through connections with the conventional lines in the vicinity of Novi Ligure, Tortona.

- The course covers the territory of 12 municipalities, the provinces of Genoa and Alexandria and the regions of Liguria and Piedmont.
