- The The G6 Alliance, that the next April will become operating, is formed by the companies of the The New Alliance World, that is APL, Hyundai Merchant Marine (HMM) and Mitsui O.S.K Lines (MOL), and from those of Grand Alliance, that it is constituted by Hapag-Lloyd (HL), Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK) and Orient Overseas Container Linens (OOCL). The six societies have emphasized today as "this is an historical agreement that remarkablly improves the cover of the service in the Asia-Europe market. We will offer - they have explained - to frequencies of the departures and competitive direct covers that will be respect to every other operator of the market".

- From the next spring The G6 Alliance it will operate seven services between Asia and Europe and two services between Asia and the Mediterranean with portacontainer of the ability until 14.000 teu. The nine services - they have evidenced the companies of the new alliance - "will offer more frequent departures, with daily departures from the main Asian, European and Mediterranean ports. The schedule - they have specified - ports of call will include weeklies magazine multiples to Singapore, in southern China, to Rotterdam, Amburgo, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Southampton. Moreover the port of call ports will include the Havre, Antwerp, Bremerhaven, Thamesport, the ports of the Bohai Bay di Dalian and Xingang, Ningbo, Qingdao, Xiamen, Kaohsiung, Cai Mep, the Japanese ports, Columbus, Gedda and Port Saïd".
