 The shipowning group Scottish Craig, than work mainly to service of the industry of the gas and the oil, has announced today investments of 50 million pounds (60 million euros) for the acquisition of new ships in the within of the new contract with Talisman Energy (UK) Ltd. undersigned from the branch North Sea Operations. In fact in the within of the contract the branch of the Scottish group will order the construction of two new platform supply vessels (PSV) to support of the activity in the Sea of the North of the Talisman Energy (UK), society of Aberdeen that takes part of the Canadian group Talisman Energy.-
- The two new ships, long 83 meters and wide 18 meters, will be constructed by the Spanish ship yard Balenciaga, that it is situated on the Gulf of Biscaglia, and will be taken in delivery in the second and fourth trimester of the next year. With the two new units the consistency of the fleet of the Craig group, that it is operated by the branch North Star, will go up currently to 37 ships (31 in service and six under construction).
