Integration between the several areas of the planet and their development - it has concluded of the Federation of the Sea - would not be possible without the contribution of the sea".

The relationship introduced yesterday specific that the marine transport of goods alimentary has reached 5.800 billion ton-kilometer and that the transported volumes by sea count today about 100 million tons of perishable alimony (meat and poultry, yields and vegetable, fish, dairy ingredient, other categories) and about 400 million tons of granaglie (wheat, other cereals, soybean).

Moreover the container cooled (reefer), in which they are transported perishable goods as food, constitutes 14% of the total containerized cargo transport counted in number transported total of container teu. On 100 million the tons of perishable transported by sea, 76% is transported in reefer.
