Interpellation of the M5S on the passages nominations of Cosimo Indaco to commissioner of the Harbour Authority of Catania



Tomorrow to the Chamber of Deputies the members of the Movement 5 Stars (M5S) in commission the catanese Transports and deputy Giulia Grillo will illustrate a urgent interpellation revolt to the minister of Infrastructures and the Transports on the three nominations to extraordinary commissioner of the Harbour Authority of Catania di Cosimo Indaco who - specific in the interpellation - "turns out to be associate not administrator (named with 13 action May 2013) of the customs shipment society "Angelo Perez di Cosimo Indaco & c. snc", than work in the port of Catania".

The deputies of the M5S remember on 9 April that the nominations have happened with decree on September 22, 2014 ministerial, and 13 October 2015 and that "in reason of the obvious conflict of interest, with notes on October 6, 2015 and on January 20, 2016 some parliamentarians of group M5S, with to a deputy of the Sicilian region, have asked the National Authority Anticorruzione to verify the subsistence of a presumed situation of inconferibilità/8 incompatibilities according to decree legislative April 2013, n. 39".

The deputies emphasize that the National Authority Anticorruzione has found "a situation of not curable conflict of interest with the mere abstention in the adoption of the competence actions since such conflict is from considering itself generalized and permanent and Mr. Cosimo Indaco, in quality of president of the Harbour Authority of Catania with its provisions takes part, also in way generalized, on the activity of the society "Angelo Perez di Cosimo Indaco & c. snc", in which the same one is bearer of specific interests".

The deputies of the M5S moreover evidence that "from the deliberation of the Anac he achieves an important responsibility with regard to the nomination of the Mr. Cosimo Indaco, moreover remained absolute also as a result of precedence signallings and interrogations of the M5S, correspondents also to the minister of Infrastructures and the Transports, responsibility who, to judgment of consulting, shapes himself important in political terms in order not to have municipal an adequate and preliminary verification of the conditions of absence of conflict of interest, verification that would have avoided the consequent damage to the administration with regard to the generalized compromissione of the validity of the actions and/or provisions adopted from Mr. Cosimo Indaco".

"Minister Delrio - the deputies of the M5S in a note specify - must explain as he has been able to sign the nomination of Cosimo Indaco extraordinary commissioner of the Harbour Authority of Catania, renewing it then for two times, although its evident conflict of interest. A conflict that "was generalized and permanent", as found also from the Anticorruzione Authority through a deliberation that follows to our demand for seeming turned own to the Anac. This has been only one of the actions introduced from the M5S on the matter: we had already introduced signallings and interrogations to the minister of Infrastructures and the Transports without to receive minimally exaustive answers".

The assignment of Indigo to extraordinary commissioner of the Harbour Authority of Catania has expired 13th April 2016 and to its place Nunzio Martello is subentrato, commander of the Harbour office of Catania, that he is named with I decree on April 15, 2016 ministerial.
