CONTAINER FACILITY OFFICIALLY OPENS IN VANCOUVER, B.C.
VANCOUVER, BC -- In a colorful ceremony featuring huge corporate
banners unveiled from dockside gantries, Canada's newest container
terminal, Deltaport, opened for business late last month.
The terminal was officially opened by Hon. David Anderson, senior
federal minister for British Columbia. Over 600 guests, many representing
transportation groups from APEC economies, were in attendance.
