P&O Nedlloyd Q2 result lower due to Asian crisis
P&O Nedlloyd operating profit fell from $36 million in Q2
1997 to $22 million in Q2 1998. The main reasons for this were
lower revenue rates and the wider impact of Asia. However, P&O
Nedlloyd achieved a record throughput for the 2nd quarter.
