HKSC warns against rate rises
THE Hong Kong Shippers' Council (HKSC) is warning carriers that
if they continue to impose rate increases, it could cause them
problems in the long run, as shippers adopt a more cautious attitude
towards rate rises.
The comments were made in response to a Far Eastern Freight Conference
(FEFC) proposal to boost rates by US$200 per TEU in the Asia-Europe
