Oil tankers' rates seen to drop 5-7% next year
Worldscale flat rates for oil tankers will generally fall by between
5 and 7 per cent next year, the Worldscale Association of London
said on Wednesday.
The rates would decrease from Jan 1, 1999 to reflect lower bunker
prices and changes in port charges, Worldscale said in a statement.
The bunker rate for next year has been calculated at US$82.75
