EU stepping up import regulations on Korean goods
The European Union is stepping up import barriers against Korean-made
products, accentuated by a recent move to impose higher tariffs
on shipments of lysine, the Korea International Trade Association
said yesterday.
The EU Executive Commission imposed fines of 110 million euros
or 117 billion won on five Korean manufacturers of lysine, a chemical
additive
