Ce transfert est dautant plus intéressant à suivre que ledit service de ligne régulière a un caractère mixte, cest-à-dire quil est à la fois axé sur le conventionnel/ breakbulk, le ro/ro et les containers.

Lorganisation aéroportuaire internationale Airports Council International (ACI) a, dans un message envoyé à lorganisation de laviation civile OACI, lancé un appel pour une application plus rigoureuse des normes sonores pour avions qui sont en vigueur de par le monde. Les avions les plus bruyants, même sils appartiennent à la catégorie sonore Chapitre 3, doivent disparaître le plus vite possible de manière à pouvoir garantir la poursuite du développement du secteur aérien, déclare lACI.

Ainsi que signalé dans notre rubrique Official Notices, le jeune armement espagnol Nenufar Shipping relance un service de ligne régulière multipurpose entre Anvers et Bilbao qui se manifestera à une fréquence hebdomadaire et à jour fixe. Il sagit en fait dun retour qui seffectue dans dautres conditions. Larmement rappelons-le, avait lancé un tel service en mars 1999, mais il fut arrêté au bout dun an.
- Le terminal à containers du port de Bruxelles prend forme
Aujourdhui, les poutres de soutènement du nouveau portique à containers seront déchargées dans lavant-port de Bruxelles. Les poutres mêmes seront acheminées par ponton et déchargées à laide de grues mobiles par la firme Sarens. Le portique à containers est construit par la firme Femont de Willebroek, une entreprise spécialisée dans la construction dengins de levage.
