Larmement Cosco Container Line (Coscon) réceptionne progressivement sa nouvelle génération de PC de 5.400 TEU. La première unité dune série de sept, le Cosco Shanghai vient dentamer son mainden trip au départ de la Chine à destination de lEurope, car ces unités sont pour linstant destinées à être affectées au service hebdomadaire que larmement assure sur cette route. En dautres mots, Coscon va donner une nouvelle dimension à son service ce qui devrait être réalisé dici 7 à 8 mois.
- Hesse Noord Natie devrait passer sous contrôle PSA en novembre
Les jeux sont faits. Le conseil chargé de la concurrence ayant donné vendredi dernier son feu vert sans aucune restriction à la fusion des deux plus grandes entreprises de manutention portuaire anversoises, la Hessenatie et la Noord Natie, cette fusion devient donc effective. En fait il ne sagit plus que dune formalité, toutes les dispositions techniques, administratives et juridiques ayant été prises au cours des mois précédents. Reste maintenant la dernière étape dun processus entamé il y plus dun an, à savoir la prise dun contrôle majoritaire par le groupe singapourien PSA Corp de la nouvelle entité Hesse Noord Natie s.a. Cela devrait être réalisé dans le courant du mois de novembre prochain.
- Universal Express devient le partenaire belge de 24plus
Le réseau allemand de PME du transport routier 24plus a signé un accord selon lequel Universal Express, une des filiales du groupe Ziegler, devient son partenaire pour la Belgique. Ce groupement dentreprises indépendantes ny avait pas encore de correspondant, tandis que lentreprise belge peut désormais couvrir en messagerie/groupage toutes les destinations en Allemagne, ainsi que certains autres pays au travers dautres adhérents étrangers de 24plus. Le partenariat a été entamé le 1er août.
- Rail/route: la France pourrait modifier sa politique daides
Le quotidien français Les Echos a indiqué dans une édition récente que le gouvernement français veut réduire drastiquement ses aides au transport combiné rail/route. Déduction faites de la TVA, les aides que la SNCF perçoit de lEtat à ce titre, passeraient ainsi de 500 millions de FRF (76,22 mio. dEUR) en 2001 à 200 mio. de FRF (30,5 mio. dEUR) en 2002, ce qui correspond à une réduction de 60%. Même si ce qui ne serait plus donné dune main au rail/route, pourrait lêtre de lautre, cette perspective apparaît comme un vrai coup dur pour la SNCF, dont les résultats en combiné sont loin de répondre aux attentes.
