Le Conseil européen des Ministres des Finances a approuvé lundi soir une décision accordant à quatre Etats-membres le droit de réduire pour une période de deux ans supplémentaires les accises sur les carburants utilisées pour certaines applications spécifiques, lisez pour le transport routier. Ces quatre pays sont lItalie, la France, les Pays-Bas et, apparemment, lAllemagne. Cette décision devrait provoquer de nouvelles actions des transporteurs au Royaume-Uni.
- Ziegler signe un accord de collaboration avec BDP International
Le groupe Ziegler vient de conclure un accord de coopération stratégique avec le groupe logistique américain BDP International. Cet accord porte sur les activités de fret maritime et aérien en France et en Belgique et sur les activités de fret maritime aux Pays-Bas. Etant donné que BDP possède déjà un réseau dans ces pays, lentreprise a naturellement mis un terme à ses contrats avec les agents dans ces pays. Ainsi à Anvers, lexpéditeur de fret aérien Freight Solutions et lexpéditeur de fret maritime Navex & Van Meerbeeck ne sont plus partenaires de BDP depuis avant-hier.

Le marché allemand du transport de colis ne connaîtra quune croissance moyenne durant les prochaines années. Une des raisons est que les volumes de trafic supplémentaires générés par les activités de commerce électronique seront considérablement inférieurs à ce qui avait été annoncé jusquici. Cest ce qua exposé Peter Klaus, professeur à luniversité de Erlangen-Nuremberg au cours dune récente conférence sur le transport de colis et la distribution de courrier.
