Le groupe Grand Alliance a déjà commencé à réduire sa capacité et les mesures prises porteront sur 15% de sa capacité actuelle pour toute lannée 2002. Hapag-Lloyd sera donc concerné, tout comme ses partenaires. Mais cette réduction de la capacité est devenue inévitable. Elle est dictée par les circonstances. Les taux chutent à des niveaux beaucoup trop bas et les volumes ne progressent guère. Ils ont même tendance à diminuer dans certains trafics, a déclaré Günther Casjens, le patron des lignes régulières de Hapag-Lloyd, au cours de la traditionnelle conférence de presse internationale de fin dannée, qui sest tenue mercredi dernier à Londres.
- La LKW-Maut décidée en Allemagne suscite de vives critiques
Le gouvernement allemand a pris la décision dimposer à partir de 2003 une redevance kilométrique (LKW-maut) de 15 eurocents par kilomètre aux poids lourds de plus de 12 tonnes. Lassociation Transport en Logistiek Nederland a été prompte à critiquer la hauteur de la taxe, ainsi que le mode de répartition de son produit.
- Centrum Transport va créer un centre logistique à Overpelt
Le groupe néerlandais Centrum Transport (Valkenswaard) va construire un centre logistique en Belgique. Il sera situé à Overpelt, à une dizaine de kilomètres de son siège central. La société, qui est spécialisée dans les transports de et vers lEurope de lEst et le Proche-Orient, va investir 5 mio. dEUR dans cette nouvelle infrastructure. Cest ce quannonce la presse locale aux Pays-Bas.
- Toujours pas de percée dans le dossier DAT
Le tribunal de commerce de Bruxelles ne sest toujours pas prononcé sur laffaire New DAT et le centre de services financiers SIC. Le centre de coordination de Sabena a laissé tomber hier matin son plan de relance, qui en est déjà à sa troisième version, et veut maintenant présenter un nouveau plan dexploitation. Le tribunal dispose de 15 jours pour prendre sa décision.
