Le CA de la division Mail a légèrement augmenté, tandis que celui de Financial Services a augmenté de 5,5% à 1,414 mia. d’EUR. Deutsche Post a en outre remporté quelques victoires importantes dans des procédures judiciaires introduites par les concurrents.

    Le poids réel des marchandises placées dans des containers qu’on charge à bord des porte-containers, correspond-il effectivement aux données mentionnées sur les documents de transport? D’une étude effectuée à Anvers et à laquelle ont participé la société de manutention Hessenatie, plusieurs agents maritimes (Boeckmans, P&ONL, American Overseas, Star Shipping et le groupe JOS/Joint Overseas Service), il ressort que dans 42% des cas - l’étude a porté sur 23 escales de PC impliquant la manutention de 10.522 TEU -, les informations relatives au poids étaient incorrectes. En d’autres mots, 58% des informations sur le poids communiquées lors de la présentation des boîtes au terminal sont fiables. Cette situation à des conséquences considérables à plusieurs niveaux, qu’il s’agisse des agents maritimes et cross-agents ou des manutentionnaires et des armements.
