Pour le tansport routier néerlandais, lannée 2000 a été une annus horribilis: plus de 57% des entreprises de transport international ont clôturé lannée sur des chiffres rouges, et pas moins de 42% des entreprises de tansport national. La rentabilité moyenne dans le transport international a été de -0,8%, et celle dans le transport national de +0,8%. Dans ces chiffres, limpact de la mauvaise performance des petites entreprises est déterminant. Les grandes entreprises sont les seules à dégager des bénéfices plus ou moins acceptables. Pour 2001, une petite embellie est prévue, mais le niveau moyen de rentabilité demeurera mauvais. Cest ce qui ressort dune analyse de divers rapports de linstitut de
recherche néerlandais NEA, publiée dans lhebdomadaire de lassociation Transport en Logistiek Nederland.
