Shipping firms resume order placements
Following the government's plan to ease debt ratio requirements
for the shipping industry, major shipping companies are moving
to place shipbuilding orders, the Korea Shipowners Association
(KSA) said yesterday.
The shipping firms had been unable to place orders for new ships
under the uniform regulation that required companies, regardless
of the business
