Daewoo Shipbuilding released from debt-workout program
Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering (DSME) has become the
first of the 12 Daewoo affiliates to be freed from the workout
programs that began two years ago.
The company's main creditor, Korea Development Bank, said creditor
institutions, which hold 99.4 percent of the loans, agreed to
end the company's workout program as of yesterday, as they deemed
