Global airline profits inch up to $5.1b
MADRID - World airlines returned a small profit of US$2.8 billion
(S$5.1 billion) on international services last year, well under
2 per cent of their overall revenues, the head of the industry's
global body, the International Air Transport Association (Iata),
reported yesterday.
