Ningbo Port to Be China's Largest Oil Transfer Center
The second phase construction of an oil wharf able to accommodate
ships of 250,000 dwt (dead weight tonnage) started recently at
Ningbo Port in east China's Zhejiang Province. When the project
wraps up in August 2002, the wharf will be able to handle 40 million
tons oil annually, becoming the largest oil transfer center in
China.
