Container traffic expected to double in two years

PORTSMOUTH -- Even without a new Maersk Sealand terminal,
the expected volume of tractor trailer-sized shipping containers
passing through the port of Hampton Roads is expected to almost
double by 2010.
To accommodate the projected cargo growth from last year's 1.35
million containers to 2010's estimated 2.1 million to 2.5 million,
