October 16, 2001 CARGO Throughput plunges on global slump Samuel Yeung Hong Kong's air passenger throughput last month dropped 7.2 per cent year-on-year and cargo plunged 10.1 per cent. Total passenger throughput last month was 2.59 million, compared with 2.79 million for the same period last year.
