HK economic growth slowed in Q1
HONG KONG: The country's economic growth slowed in the
first quarter of 2001, and most analysts are expecting worse in
months to come as global economic weakness puts the brakes on
the territory's exports and consumer sentiment.
The latest government data showed the world's 10th largest trading
economy grew 2.5% in real terms year-on-year in the first quarter
