Attacks force Lloyd's to seek extra £780m

LLOYD'S, the London insurance market, is seeking £780 million
in extra cash from members to help to cover losses arising from
the terrorist attacks in the United States.
The market's 2,800 individual members or names have been asked
for £246 million, about one third of the total cash call.
