- Lufthansa: 25 per cent higher profit 2002
Lufthansa's shares rose 6 per cent to 12.66 euro after the company raised its operating profit outlook for 2002 from 400 till 500 million euro.

Au début de lannée, larmement China Shipping Container Line (CSCL) annonçait son intention de mettre son loop européen à léchelle de PC de 5.450 TEU. Le processus dadaptation devait se faire en deux phases. La première consistait à remplacer des unités de 2.500 à 2.700 TEU par des unités de 4.000/4.500 TEU. La seconde impliquait un remplacement par des unités plus grandes. Larmement a cependant décidé de précipiter les choses et daller demblée vers la génération supérieure de PC.
- Deutsche Post annonce un programme de redressement en cinq points
Klaus Zumwinkel, le CEO de Deutsche Post World Net (DP), a annoncé un plan de redressement en cinq points, destiné à restaurer la confiance de la bourse. Lopérateur postal allemand a en effet annoncé que le bénéfice net pour le premier semestre sest effondré à 155 mio. dEUR (contre plus de 1 mia. dEUR il y a un an), essentiellement du au provisionnement de 850 mio. dEUR pour faire face à lobligation, imposée par la Commission européenne, de rembourser 850 mio. daides dEtat illicites. Le chiffre daffaires, quant à lui, a augmenté de 15% à 19,4 mia. dEUR, en grande partie grâce à lintégration des chiffres de DHL dans ceux de DP, depuis que ce dernier détient 76% des parts du transporteur express.

Le groupe français de transport routier et de logistique Norbert Dentressangle a annoncé que son chiffre daffaires consolidé pour le premier semestre de 2002 sest établi à 521 mio. dEUR, en progression de 8,3 % par rapport au CA de 482 mio. dEUR au 1er semestre 2001. Cette hausse sest principalement manifestée dans la logistique, le chiffre daffaires de la branche transport névoluant guère par rapport à il y a un an.
