Les belles paroles de Frédéric Delorme, responsable commercial de la SNCF, mercredi dernier au centre de presse dEurotunnel à Coquelles, selon lesquelles le trafic normal des trains de marchandises à travers le tunnel sous la Manche reprendrait à partir du 2 avril, nauront été que du vent. Un train est arrivé avec 29 immigrés clandestins à son bord à Dollands Moor, 149 avaient été capturés à Fréthun. Un train dUnilog a été arrêté avant de pouvoir traverser le tunnel.
- UTi Worldwide enregistre une hausse de 3,8 % de son bénéfice
UTi Worldwide, fournisseur de services et solutions logistiques, a réalisé en 2002, exercice clôturé le 31 janvier 2002, un bénéfice net de 19,2 mio. dUSD, contre 18,5 mio. dUSD un an plus tôt. Le bénéfice dexploitation a progressé de 9%, de 27,2 mio. dUSD à 29,7 mio. dUSD. Les recettes brutes ont augmenté de 3%, de 863,3 mio. dUSD en 2001 à 889,8 mio. dUSD, alors que les recettes nettes sont passées de 301,8 mio. dUSD à 304,6 mio. dUSD. UTi Worldwide a enregistré ces résultats positifs malgré le ralentissement général de la croissance économique et les faibles taux de change. UTi Worldwide a lancé au début de lannée un plan de croissance exposant la stratégie pour
les cinq prochaines années.
