Le développement des infrastructures en matière de transport est-il réellement pris en compte par lUE? Cette question faisait partie dun débat qui animait la première matinée de la conférence-exposition SITL qui se tient actuellement à Paris, et les réponses qui y furent apportées donnent matière à réflexion. Sujet particulièrement sensible, car lUE est en quelque sorte victime de la subsidiarisation, chaque pays membre décidant de ce quil juge bon de faire.
- Seine-Nord: cest (presque) parti
Le ministre français des Transports, Jean-Claude Gayssot, a confirmé lundi à Amiens le choix du fuseau (tracé) pour le futur canal Seine-Nord. Parmi les 21 possibilités, deux simposaient: celle longeant le canal de Saint-Quentin, et celle longeant le canal du Nord. Cest cette dernière option, que défendait Voies Navigables de France, qui a été choisie. Selon la porte-parole de VNF, cest donc la satisfaction. Elle insiste néanmoins sur le fait que ce choix est une étape importante, mais ne crie pas victoire pour autant: de nouvelles études sont nécessaires... et le financement nest pas réglé. Ce choix, néanmoins, rend réaliste léchéance 2015/2020 pour la réalisation du projet, qui devrait coûter 2,6 mia. dEUR. Il permettra entre autres de relier les ports belges à
Paris à un gabarit de 1.350 tonnes.
- Le bénéfice de Hays recule moins fort que prévu
Tenant compte des conditions de marché difficiles, le groupe de transport et de services britannique Hays sest relativement bien comporté durant la première moitié de lexercice 2001/2002 - clôturé le 31 décembre. Le bénéfice du groupe a il est vrai baissé de 12% par rapport à lan passé, mais reste malgré tout à un niveau acceptable.
- Eurinpro envisage de créer un campus logistique
Disposant de magasins standard multifonctionnels, le promoteur Eurinpro se profile de plus en plus comme une valeur sûre sur le marché de la construction semi-industrielle. Le spécialiste immobilier de Malines, actif jusquà la fin de lan passé sous le nom de Verelst, se présente en outre comme un véritable prestataire de services pour les entreprises logistiques. Son dernier projet auquel il a travaillé en Belgique est la construction du Canal Logistics Center à Willebroek. De nombreux autres projets sont également en cours et Eurinpro pense ouvertement à la réalisation dun vaste campus logistique.
