- Hoyer investit dans des containers- citernes pour le transport de CO2
Le transporteur et logisticien allemand Hoyer a commandé chez Van Hool six nouveaux containers-citernes pour le transport de dioxyde de carbone liquide. Hoyer porte ainsi le total de sa flotte de containers-citernes pour le transport de CO2 à onze unités. La nouvelle commande représente un investissement de quelque 100.000 EUR.
- Gand: baisse du trafic malgré une forte hausse à la sortie
Au cours des six premiers mois de lannée, le transbordement maritime dans le port de Gand a reculé de 2,74% comparé au premier semestre 2001. Le volume total des entrées et sorties a atteint 11,46 millions de tonnes, soit une baisse de 322.000 tonnes par rapport à lan dernier. Le trafic à la sortie sest pourtant fortement redressé et affiche une hausse de 16,1%. Mais cela na pas suffi pour compenser la baisse de 6,5% des volumes à lentrée. Les résultats ont été particulièrement décevants dans le secteur des diverses conventionnelles. Le mauvais résultat final est presquentièrement imputable à larrêt des importations - par la voie maritime - de slabs pour le compte de Sidmar.

Le gouvernement de Taipei est fermement décidé à mener à bien un programme de privatisation dentreprises publiques ou semi-publiques. Le désengagement de lEtat de plusieurs secteurs, comme les banques et la sidérurgie (China Steel), porterait selon notre confrère Lloyds List sur un montant 17 milliards dUSD. Dans la liste des participations publiques à privatiser figurent les 43% que lEtat détient encore dans larmement Yang Ming.
