- Le groupe Danzas satisfait de son exercice 2001
Le groupe Danzas, la branche logistique de Deutsche Post, a vu progresser son bénéfice avant intérêts, impôts et amortissements (EBITA) de 40,7% à 159 mio. dEUR en 2001. La groupe a renforcé, selon ses dires, sa position de leader sur le marché logistique.
- Zeebrugge: CTO candidat pour une concession de 7 ha dans lavant-port
Zeebrugge est avant-tout un port ro-ro. Il sest même hissé à la première place dans le nord de lEurope, notamment pour ce qui est du trafic des voitures neuves. Le succès est tel, que les manutentionnaires qui traitent ces trafics souffrent dun manque crucial de place. Ce nest pas sans raison quil y a trois candidats pour lancienne concession du terminal vraquier de la ZBM, dune superficie dune cinquantaine dhectates. Un des manutentionnaires, en loccurrence CTO (Combined Terminal Operator), sest ainsi porté candidat pour une nouvelle concession dans lavant-port.

Freddy Nicolas, de la société Nicolas-Jacquet (Franière, près de Namur) a repris la totalité des actions de la société de transport de verre plat Glass Partners. Cette joint-venture avait été créée en novembre 1999 par Nicolas et Eric Foulon, de la société Van Hoof à Sambreville (également près de Namur). Les deux actionnaires ont décidé de se séparer, et Freddy Nicolas se retrouve donc seul actionnaire de Glass Partners. Cest ce quannonce Truck & Business Online.
- North-South Freight Freeways a intégré son réseau international
Via une coalition de dix compagnies dinfrastructure ferroviaire nationales et indépendantes aux Pays-Bas, en Allemagne, en Autriche, en Suisse, en Italie et en Scandinavie, un réseau a été mis sur pied devant faciliter le trafic transfrontalier de trains de marchandises exploités par des opérateurs ferroviaires indépendants. Les corridors fret de North-South Freight Freeways relient les ports de la mer du Nord et la Scandinavie avec le sud de lEurope.
