Depuis le début de cette semaine, les transporteurs routiers facturent un supplément lorquils sont confrontés à des temps dattente trop longs aux terminaux à containers du port dAnvers. Cest principalement au Noordzeeterminal, victime de son succès, que le problème des temps dattente se produirait. Le manutentionnaire, Hesse Noord Natie, met tout en oeuvre pour le résoudre.Les temps dattente semblent dailleurs progressivement se résorber, nous a déclaré Jan Pellens, le conseiller de PSA. Il a bon espoir quils devraient bientôt se limiter à une demi-heure.
- Le transport maritime mondial continue à accumuler les records
Plus de 5,88 mia. de t de marchandises ont été transportées à travers le monde par la voie maritime en 2000. Cela constitue une sérieuse croissance de 3,6% par rapport à lannée précédente, selon la CNUCED. Bien que selon des chiffres officieux, la croissance naurait atteint que 2% lan dernier, cela signifie tout de même que le transport maritime est en progression pour la seizième année consécutive.
