Le groupe français Bils Deroo (dont le siège est à Waziers dans le Nord) traversse une période très difficile. Son pôle de transport, qui compte quatre sociétés, vient dêtre mis en redressement judiciaire sur décision du Tribunal de Commerce de Douai (Nord). Néanmoins, cette mesure ne remet pas en cause la continuité des services apportés aux clients. Toujours contrôlé financièrement par les descendants des fondateurs (les familles Bils et Deroo), ce groupe est un bon exemple dentreprise régionale ayant connu - en particulier ces dix dernières années - un très fort développement accompagné dune diversification tant technique que géographique. Les problèmes sont essentiellement liés à un manque de liquidités.

Il va sans dire quavec la Hesse Noord Natie, le groupe se taille une position de force dans cette rangée des ports du Nord, plus particulièrement au Benelux. Quelles seront les prochaines étapes en Europe?

Le groupe portuaire, maritime et logistique britannique P&O espère trouver un repreneur pour P&O Trans European, sa division logistique européenne. Cest ce quécrit le Financial Times. Selon le quotidien britannique, le groupe a décidé de se défaire de cette branche suite à une évaluation stratégique des diverses activités. Cette étude aurait démontré que la branche logistique nest pas assez grande pour faire face à la venue de rivaux opérant à une échalle globale.
