Feport est davis quil devrait être laissé au marché le soin de décider combien dopérateurs sont nécessaires par port et dans le cas dabus de position dominante, les règles de concurrence devraient sappliquer. Cest ce qua déclaré Paul Valkeniers, président de Feport, la Fédération des opérateurs portuaires privés, lors de la convention Marilog qui sest tenue tout récemment à Hambourg.
- Les trains de marchandises dépassent de loin les 8 km/h de la Commission européenne...
Il nest pas rare dentendre la commissaire européenne aux Transports et à lEnergie Loyola de Palacio et ses adjoints parler avec dédain de la vitesse des trains de marchandises en Europe. Son prédécesseur Kinnock parlait encore de 16 km/h, elle descend même à huit km/h. Il est tout de même bon de savoir que tous les trains ne circulent pas à cette vitesse, loin sen faut.
- La reprise de Keulders est un fait
Dans notre édition dhier, nous annoncions que dans le cadre de la vente par appartements du groupe français Vialle, Gilbert Keulders, lancien propriétaire de la société de transport du même nom, allait probablement racheter son anciennen entreprise. Cest fait, nous a-t-il déclaré hier au téléphone. Il a précisé que beaucoup dénergie devra désormais aller à la restauration de la confiance des clients, des fournisseurs et du personnel. Il voit toutefois les choses dun très bon oeil, car depuis la restructuration dil y a un peu plus dun an, la société est saine et bénéficaire.
