Alors quil était quasiment certain que le groupe Bolloré deviendrait le principal investisseur dans Geodis, la division de transport routier des chemins de fer français SNCF, un nouveau projet vient démerger in extremis sous le nom de Modalis. Ce holding aurait lintention de prendre une participation de 33% dans Geodis. Le groupe présente aujourdhui son projet au président de la SNCF Louis Gallois.

Le groupe de transport néerlandais Vos Logistics va construire une nouvelle plate-forme logistique sur le Logipark Zeeland Seaports de Terneuzen. Le projet représente un investissement de 20 mio. dEUR. Un terminal à silos, un hangar de transbordement cross-docks, un espace dentreposage et une station de nettoyage pour les citernes et containers seront aménagés sur un terrain industriel de 8,5 ha.
