- TPG signe un important contrat logistique avec Michelin en Amérique du Nord
Michelin Amérique du Nord a signé un contrat de six ans avec TPG pour la gestion de son réseau de distribution de pneus aux Etats-Unis et au Canada. Laccord, qui a été signé par la business unit TNT Logistics North America, a une valeur de plusieurs millions de dollars. Il sagit du plus important contrat logistique jamais signé par TNT en Amérique du Nord.

La société Tranport De Jongh à Kallo, filiale du groupe allemand Talke chargée du transport de liquides en citernes et containers-citernes de la société-soeur logistique Talke België, a été certifiée aux normes de qualité GMP. Ce certificat de bonnes pratiques (GMP signifie: Good Manufacturing / Managing Practice) concerne les normes à respecter durant la production, le commerce et le transport daliments pour bétail.

Le manutentionnaire Eurogate vient de passer commande chez Kalmar Industrie dun portique à containers super-post-panamax supplémentaire de type Nelcon, pour son terminal de Hambourg, ceci pour faire face à la croissance du trafic. En effet, entre janvier et juin dernier, ce terminal a traité 806.690 TEU, soit 111.000 TEU de plus par rapport à la période correspondante de lannée précédente. Cest dire que le score de 2001 avec 1,5 mio. de TEU sera largement dépassé cette année.
- Le nombre décopoints pour 2002 ne sera pas réduit
La Commission européenne a décidé hier de ne pas réduire le nombre décopoints pour lannée 2002. Cette décision est liée au nombre de voyages de transit de poids lourds en Autriche en 2001, et a été prise sur base de ladite clause des 108 pour cent. LAutriche est donc une nouvelle fois rappelée à lordre parce que les données relatives à lan dernier ne correspondent pas à la réalité. La Commission a donc décidé de redistribuer les écopoints restants pour cette année.
