Larmement Contship Containerlines, filiale de CP Ships, a réceptionné le premier de 3 PC de 4.100 TEU (capacité reefer 1.300 prises), le Contship Aurora, quil alignera dès le 16 septembre prochain dans le cadre dun service conjoint tour du monde axé sur la desserte Europe-Australie, Nouvelle-Zélande. Ce nouveau tonnage va remplacer des navires plus petits que larmement aligne actuellement dans son service Eagle. Pour cet armement ce nouvel investissement confirme son engagement à très long terme dans ce trafic. En outre, il sagit du plus grand type de navire commandé par Contship jusquici et quil exploitera sous sa bannière.
- Baisse du trafic fluvial en Allemagne
Les voies navigables allemandes ont transporté 114,5 millions de tonnes de marchandises au premier semestre de lannée. Par rapport à la même période de lan passé, cela revient à une baisse de trois pour cent. Les prestations de transport ont baissé dans le même temps de 4% à 30,7 mia. de t/km. Cest ce qui ressort des chiffres provisoires du service de statistiques allemand.
