Hapag-Lloyd today signed a contract for the long-term charter of four large containerships in order to increase its capacities in view of the ongoing growth in global container transport.

- DSV: résultats semestriels en hausse mais inférieurs aux prévisions
Laugmentation du bénéfice dexploitation réalisé par le groupe de transport et logistique danois DSV au premier semestre de lannée a été inférieure aux 3% avancés. Cette prestation quelque peu décevante est attribuée à deux des quatre divisions du groupe, à savoir Air & Sea et Logistics.
- AP Møller est parvenu à masquer la faiblesse du shipping
Conformément aux obligations légales, le groupe danois AP Møller a rendu publics les résultats de ses deux compagnies cotées à la bourse de Copenhague pour le premier semestre de lexercice en cours. Il la fait en adoptant une nouvelle présentation comptable, qui a eu pour effet de hausser considérablement la valeur des actifs. De plus, les résultats englobent pour la première fois ceux des compagnies affiliées, alors que nétaient prises en considération précédemment que les dividendes de filiales comme Mærsk Inc USA, Mærsk Air et Mærsk Logistics. Conséquence: un bénéfice net en hausse de 2 milliards de couronnes danoises à 9 mia. de DKK (1,20 mia. dUSD), contre 7,4 mia. de DKK en juin 2001, ce qui sest traduit par une hausse de respectivement 17% et 18% des actions des deux compagnies cotées à la bourse de Copenhague.
- Bénéfice net en baisse de 45% pour Frans Maas
Le groupe dexpédition et de logistique Frans Maas a enregistré au premier semestre un bénéfice net de 5,7 mio. dEUR, soit 45% de moins que les 10,4 mio. dEUR réalisés par lentreprise au cours de la même période de lan passé, mais cest remarquablement mieux que les 1,9 mio. dEUR du second semestre 2001.
- La Deutsche Bahn évalue à plus dun milliard dEUR la facture des inondations
