50 shipping vessels exempted from duty

ISLAMABAD (April 02 2002) : The government has announced exemption
of custom duty on the import of over 50 different kinds of shipping
vessels in order to strengthen the national shipping industry.
These vessels include floating crafts, warships, tankers, dredgers
and survey vessels to be imported by Pakistan's shipping companies
and entities
