China sees increase in customs revenue
China's customs revenue totaled 249.23 billion yuan (about US$
30.39bn) in 2001, an increase of 11.17 percent or 25.04 billion
yuan (about US$ 3.05bn) over the figure for 2000.
The General Administration of Customs (GAC) said here Wednesday
that China's customs revenue has registered sharp increases for
the past three consecutive years.
