OPEC unlikely to boost production
OPEC oil ministers prepared on Thursday to extend a freeze on
crude output saying prices were inflated by the threat of a US
attack on Iraq rather than any supply shortage.
The Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries wants to
hoist oil back to its central $25-a-barrel target after a six-month
price slump caused by a recession that slowed demand.
