Indian shipping majors registering vessels in other countries
INDIAN shipping companies have started registering their flags
in offshore registries like Liberia, Panama and Singapore because
the operating conditions in the country are not very welcoming
as far as shipping is concerned.
Essar Shipping, Great Eastern, Varun Shipping have registered
a few of their vessels in offshore registries to avoid the heavy
operating
