No. of cruise passengers down 7.3%

TOKYO - The number of Japanese who went on a cruise, excluding
day-trippers, came to 200,100 in 2001, down 7.3% from 2000 when
the number hit a record high, the Land, Infrastructure and Transport
Ministry said Tuesday.
Of cruise passengers, 115,300 went on a voyage overseas, down
