Tacoma: New facility at port will ship containers of soy to
Japan

MacMillan-Piper, a major transfer company at the Port of Tacoma,
has begun operating a new facility to load thousands of tons of
soy flakes onto containers for export to Japan.
The $330,000 facility was dedicated this week by officials from
the port, Tacoma Rail, MacMillan-Piper, Maersk Pacific Ltd., Cargill
Inc. and Fuji Oil Co.
