Cranes to screen for radioactive bombs

NORFOLK -- The Virginia Port Authority plans to install radiation
detection devices on every container crane at its terminals and
hopes to receive $15.5 million in federal funding for that and
other security projects.
Port officials provided the security update Tuesday at the authority's
bi-monthly board of directors
