Maritime legacy of city to be recognised

GLASGOW'S proud history as a maritime giant is set to be recognised
after councillors took the first step in establishing a new riverside
museum yesterday.
The Pumphouse Maritime Visitor Centre in Stobcross Road, Yorkhill,
will form an integral part of plans to move and expand the transport
museum as part of the £500 million Glasgow Harbour development.
