July 28, 2003 P&O Nedlloyd makes Port Klang its transhipment hub for NZ trade IN A move aimed at exploiting the strategic advantage offered by Port Klang in the regional port system, P&O Nedlloyd has moved to make Port Klang as its transhipment hub. The managing director of P&O Nedlloyd M.A Sdn Bhd, Patrick Lim, said cargoes destined for New Zealand from the Indian sub-continent and West Asia and vice versa are currently being transhipped via Port Klang.
