September 1, 2003 KPT worried about ship’s wreckage By Farhan Reza KARACHI: The port authorities are concerned about the wreckage of Tasman Spirit as its could create difficulty in the channel, said Brig Iftekhar Arshad (retd), general manager of the Karachi Port Trust. He said that the priority would be to remove the ship’s wreckage to minimize the threat of ship’s pieces entering the channel.
